On December 5th, at 6:00pm, a College Credit Plus meeting will be held in conjunction with Marion Technical College, Marion OSU, and Mount Vernon Nazarene University, to introduce this program to our students and parents. The meeting will run from 6:00-7:00 in the high school auditeria.
This program is open to student 7-12 and allows individuals to earn credits toward both high school and college.
At this informational meeting representatives from OSUM, MTC, and MVNU, will give a general overview of the CCP program. In addition, MGHS guidance personnel will talk in more detail about the Mount Gilead CC+ plan. Parents and students will sign the required Letter of Intent to participate in the College Credit Plus program.
For more information, parents and students can go to the Mount Gilead High School Guidance Department website.
We hope that you will be able to attend this informative meeting. As always, should you have any questions, feel free to contact Brant Hosack, Guidance Counselor, at 419-947-6065.
